Extra £10 supplemental fee for Long Hair
The Fee
As of 5 July 2017, Blow Dry Express will charge £10 supplemental fee for clients with Long Hair. I offer 30-minute appointments for the benefit of all our clients (fast beauty) and in order to maintain affordable prices. I train my stylists in fast expert styling. Despite this expertise, Long Hair overwhelms us. This £10 fee is necessary to reflect the additional time and attention to the blow dry long hair. This flat fee will be added for all appointment times.

I love clients with long, luxurious hair, but Blow Dry Express cannot fulfil its mission for fast beauty in a 30-minute appointment for clients who have Long Hair. These delays impact other clients adversely.
I will be generous in my interpretation of Long Hair versus “not Long Hair” but the definition of Long Hair is entirely the discretion of Blow Dry Express. I do not anticipate differences in opinions as Long Hair is usually a fashion statement and is not the result of an extended interval between haircuts.
I am hopeful that clients self-select in the Long Hair appointment option in the calendar but the decision to charge the £10 extra fee will be made by Blow Dry Express before shampooing starts in the salon. If a client who has Long Hair reserves a 30-minute appointment by mistake, Blow Dry Express may re-schedule the appointment at its discretion and convenience to the client.
Extra £10 supplemental fee for ‘sewn-in’ and ‘clip-in’ extensions

Blow Dry Express charges a £10 supplemental fee for clients with ‘sewn-in’ or ‘clip-in’ hair extensions. Recently, I have many clients with hair extensions and my stylists are unable to complete their blow dry within 30-minutes. I offer 30-minute appointments for the benefit of our clients (fast beauty) and in order to maintain affordable prices. This £10 fee is necessary to reflect the additional time and attention to the blow dry. This flat fee will be added for all appointment times.
Hair Extension Policy
Blow Dry Express is happy to service clients with hair extensions, but Blow Dry Express is not responsible for hair extensions which become loose or are disengaged during the wash or blowdry. Blow Dry Express recognises hair extensions are delicate and will be as careful as possible in handling the hair extensions, however we do not assume responsibility if the hair extensions disengage, fall out, loosen or are damaged.

Normally, BDE includes a shampoo with a 30-minute Blow Dry. For UpDo's, we do NOT shampoo.
In order to ensure that it will last awhile and that we can do them in the usual super-quick BDE time, please come in with clean, dry hair.
